Our Baby Broccoli Steps Program will teach you how to be accountable to losing weight while empowering you to put yourself first so that you can achieve the healthy life you deserve.

I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) who has been practicing nutrition education for over 12 years. I’ve counseled and led weight loss support groups and empowered others to achieve their weight loss goals. Soon after my son was born, I lost that sense of empowerment and making my health a priority.  I found myself trying to lose the baby weight while juggling a full time job, being a new mom, and having an injury that prevented me from being able to exercise.

As you can imagine, I felt super frustrated as “I knew what to do” but I just couldn’t seem to be able to do it. I just couldn’t lose the weight despite all of my knowledge. I remained in my maternity clothes for almost two years post baby. My body had changed so much during the pregnancy and subsequent period of inactivity that I dreaded going shopping and looking for bigger clothes. Tired of making excuses and putting myself last, I decided that I needed to be accountable for everything I ate, every time I decided to NOT focus on my health.  These were all choices that I was making, even if unconsciously.

I put together this program to help you learn some new skills, gain accountability, and empower you to achieve your health goals. You have one life and deserve to live it in a body you are comfortable with.

What is the Baby Broccoli Steps Program?

It is a 10-week virtual nutrition program (FIRST) that emphasizes food-related behavioral change. It is not a diet but rather a course that teaches weekly behaviors necessary to lose weight and to keep it off for the long term. It’s a program about making a commitment to yourself and empowering you to finally take the step to achieve your health goals. After the 10-week FIRST plan is completed, participants are recommended to continue practicing the necessary behavior changes with the SECOND program. It is a monthly program offering continued support for as long as you need it.

Baby Broccoli Steps - FIRST

  • 10 week coaching program
  • Initial 45 min virtual session – we work together to develop a meal planning strategy for you to implement
  • Mid-program 30 min INDIVIDUAL virtual check in session
  • Receive weekly module: This will tackle a different topic to be practiced and implemented throughout the week.
  • Virtual support group that meets 60 min each week to review successes/challenges
  • Personalized support – daily text support and review of food consumed
  • Access to Private Facebook Community (lifetime)

  • Maintenance Program (ONLY available to those who have finished the FIRST step)
  • 4 week program; can continue in this group for as long as extra support is needed
  • Virtual support group that meets 60 min each week to review successes/challenges
  • Personalized support – daily text support and review of food consumed

What is Virtual Coaching

Sessions are conducted by either video chat or telephone and is an alternative to face-to-face coaching. It’s a convenient and time-saving option for busy women trying to fit health into their already hectic lifestyle. The coaching process is the same as an in-person session but with the convenience of calling from home, work, or wherever you are able to get a few minutes of free time.
